Circuit Protection

Devices that help protect electronic circuits from damage or malfunction due to overcurrent and/or overvoltage.

Circuit protection devices are typically programmed to be sensitive to current or voltage changes and can quickly detect any abnormalities and shut down the circuit when needed. Circuit Protection devices maybe classified in several ways, these include Circuit Breakers, Electro Static Discharge (ESD) or Circuit Protection ICs, Fuses, TVS Diodes, Varistor, etc.
